There is widespread genocide, war, and hunger.  There are a few concerted efforts around the world doing their best to help the peoples of Africa.  But is it enough?  What distinguishes one war from another?  Why are the citizens of Iraq more fortunate to have our soldiers fight for them when the people of the Sudan and Congo go without police protecting them?  I believe we as a society don’t know what to do to help and probably don’t care, because we have no stake in Africa.  However, we all share this world and we should all be there for each other.

Liberate Africa is a discussion of what people can do from their homes and exchange ideas on ways we can help.  The latest news will also be posted to help educate and watch our efforts change individual lives.
